Why Cabot patients head north for implants

From Cabot you can head south into Little Rock traffic or north into the country toward Greers Ferry Lake. Patients who head north end up at a practice built around implants, where Dr. Noland plans and places every implant himself and performs more than 15 full-arch cases a month.

Your teeth are designed and made in our own lab, on site. You meet the team that shapes your smile, and your fit and bite are refined in the same building where your surgery happens.

Wearing dentures now? Fixed teeth may be closer than you think. Your free consultation includes a 3D CBCT scan that shows exactly how much bone you have, and Dr. Noland can treat almost anybody, including patients who were told elsewhere that they do not have enough bone, often without grafting.

For patients traveling from Cabot

The out-of-town plan: three days here, one trip back

Cabot is a comfortable day trip, but surgery week is easier when you are not driving AR-5 back and forth. For qualifying patients, Dr. Noland can fit the full-arch process into a single three-day visit and one return trip. Whether this plan is right for you depends on your health, your bone, and how your implants do on surgery day, and your final timeline is always confirmed at your consultation.

  1. Before you travel

    Medical history by phone

A team member walks through your health history, medications, and goals with you over the phone, so your time in Heber Springs is spent planning your smile, not filling out forms.

  2. Before you travel

Medical clearance, handled ahead of time

If your history calls for it, we request clearance from your physician before your visit, so nothing holds up surgery day.

  3. Day 1

    Records and your plan

Arrive for your 3D CBCT scan, photos, and digital records. Then sit down with Dr. Noland to talk through your goals and finalize your treatment plan together.

  4. Day 2

Surgery, and fixed teeth the same day

Dr. Noland places your implants himself, and you leave with a fixed set of temporary teeth that same day. If you choose sedation, plan on a driver.

  5. Day 3

Fit and bite check, then home

We check the fit, fine-tune your bite, go over care at home, and you head back to Cabot with your new smile.

  6. About 3 weeks later

One return trip for final zirconia teeth

Patients Dr. Noland approves for our 3-week zirconia option come back once to have their final zirconia teeth seated, designed and milled in our in-house lab. You trade months in a temporary for your final smile in a matter of weeks, and skip the extra trips that come with a longer wait. Dr. Noland selects patients for this option at his discretion, case by case.

Good to know. Getting your final teeth early does not rush the healing underneath. A soft-food diet for the first three months and your scheduled follow-up visits, including a six-month evaluation, are still part of the plan, and we schedule them with your drive in mind. If the 3-week option is not the right fit for you, you follow our standard path: fixed temporary teeth while you heal, then final zirconia teeth after the healing phase, typically 3 to 5 months of visits.

Where to stay: two options, both about 10 minutes from our office

For the three-day visit, we suggest booking two nights, the evenings of Day 1 and Day 2, so you are not driving back to Cabot between your records visit, surgery, and bite check. Our patients use two places in particular. Both are about 10 minutes from the office, which keeps surgery-day travel short.

Red Apple Inn: the resort option

A boutique resort on Eden Isle, on Greers Ferry Lake. Rooms with Old World charm, a restaurant and bar in house overlooking the lake, two seasonal outdoor pools, a fitness center, an 18-hole golf course, tennis and pickleball courts, and forest trails. Condos and houses with full kitchens sleep 4 to 10 if family is coming along. It is the quieter, nicer place to rest after surgery, with meals a short walk from your room.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites: the budget option

In town, a few minutes from the office. Free hot breakfast, free Wi-Fi and parking, a fitness center, a seasonal outdoor pool, guest laundry, and pet-friendly rooms for a fee. Our patients get a special rate here. Ask our team for it when you schedule, before you book.

Book directly with either hotel, and bring the person who is driving you. Our team is happy to help you line up your reservation dates with your appointments.

Questions from Cabot and Lonoke County patients

How long is the drive from Cabot?

About 43 road miles, roughly 1 hour 15 minutes, north on AR-5 through El Paso and Rose Bud.

I live in Beebe, Ward, or Austin. Is the drive much different?

Beebe is about 39 road miles, roughly 1 hour 10 minutes, by US-67 and AR-5. From Ward or Austin, add your drive to AR-5 in Cabot.

I already wear dentures. Can I still get All-on-X?

Often, yes. Years of denture wear can shrink the jawbone, so the 3D CBCT scan at your free consultation shows how much bone you have to work with. Dr. Noland can treat almost anybody, including patients who were told by other dentists that they do not have enough bone, and bone grafting is often avoidable.

Can I do the consultation as a day trip and decide later?

Yes. The free consultation and 3D scan fit easily into a single day trip from Cabot, with no pressure to decide that day. If you move forward, our team plans your visits around your schedule.

What is the 3-week zirconia option?

For patients Dr. Noland approves, final zirconia teeth are designed and milled in our in-house lab and seated about three weeks after surgery, instead of wearing a temporary through a healing phase of typically 3 to 5 months. Dr. Noland selects patients for this option at his discretion, case by case. Your implants still heal underneath, so a soft-food diet for three months and follow-up visits still apply.

Where should I stay during the three-day visit?

We suggest two nights in Heber Springs, the evenings of Day 1 and Day 2. The Red Apple Inn on Eden Isle, on Greers Ferry Lake, is the resort option, and the Holiday Inn Express in town is the budget option with a special rate for our patients. Both are about 10 minutes from the office. Book directly with the hotel, and our team can help you line up the dates.
